FAQs

Q?

What if I have multiple structures I need surveillance on?

A.

Not a problem. Our most common solution is to use a Point to Point wireless network to connect multiple buildings on projects such as an apartment community. We also can use spare fiber or Cat5/6 cable that may be in place on projects such as school campuses, and manufacturing centers. We can also run new fiber or Cat 5/6 cable.

Q?

Do you verify alarms before dispatching police?

A.

Under Georgia law, we perform alarm verification. This means we must contact at least 2 people before contacting a public responder for burglar alarms. Panic, silent and ambush alarms are not verified to protect client  and law enforcement will be dispatched automatically. Fire alarms are handled according to your predetermined instructions. We can also perform video verification, where we view a video clip of the property, before notifying anyone.

Q?

What if I do not have a phone line?

A.

No problem, neither do we ! We use VOIP. Not many people have a traditional phone line anymore, and they are actually being phased out. If your current system uses a phone line, please contact us. All of our systems use a cellular card and some also can connect to the internet.

Q?

I rent, and do not want to invest a lot on a rental.

A.

We have several alarm systems that are wireless, and require minimal installation. The entire alarm system comes in a small box with a touch screen that can sit on a counter, desk or nightstand. With wireless sensors and accessories, relocation to a new home is an easy task.
